FCA Northeast Alabama Golf Scramble
May 8 @ Twin Bridges Golf Club, Gadsden—Northeast AL FCA
Tee time for both events: 1:00 p.m. The top qualifying teams will advance to the state tournament at Farmlinks on Sept. 11, and four teams will advance from there to the National Scramble in November at the TPC Course at Ponte Vedra.
Regions Charity Classic—May 14-18
May 14—Breakfast with the Pros, featuring defending champion Brad Bryant.
8:00 a.m. at Homewood Church of Christ on Oxmoor Road in Birmingham.
There is no charge for the breakfast; donations will be taken at the door for FCA camp scholarships. We do ask that you call to let us know you are coming so we can plan for the appropriate number of guests.
May 18—Volunteer Worship Program
FCA/SEC Baseball Brunch
May 23, 10:00 a.m. at the Wynfrey Hotel.
Speaker will be Kevin Malone, former general manager for the LA Dodgers.
Brunch, $25 per person; tables, $400.
By changing this event from a breakfast to a brunch, we hope more teams will attend.
Alabama Sports Hall of Fame/FCA Athlete of the Year Breakfast
May 31, 8:30 a.m. at the BJCC East Ballroom
Speakers will be Don McNeal, University of Alabama All-American and 2008 ASHOF inductee, and Eddie Gran, running backs and special teams coach at Auburn University.
FCA will recognize the male and female FCA Athletes of the Year from each school.
FCA Two Man Golf Scramble*
July 24, 8:30 a.m. at Eagle Point Golf Club in Birmingham
This two-man event will pair a coach or a pastor with a golfer who will sponsor his partner. The two divisions will be for those who bring his pastor or coach and those who will be paired by drawing at the event. This is a fun fellowship to enjoy before the start of football season.
